This song is one of the recent worship songs that I loved. The lyrics really emphasizes what I felt about God and who I am in His sight. You will find the lyrics below and even a video (interpretation of some church people in America).
It’s really amazing how Jesus touches lives. Even in my personal life, I can say that Jesus has been very faith especially with me and my husband. He showed that He is faithful when He restored my marriage. He though me how to love without question. He thought me that life was not about myself but for others. He showed me the reason to live.
I saw this post from my friend Lalaine and I felt that I really wanted to share this video. We were the reason that he gave his life. He gave us a reason to live.
Let’s celebrate Christmas as we remember Him. Hope you like the video.
We all know that every Sunday is the day that we recognize as “Family Day.” We spend time with the family especially with our kids. We make-up for the lost time and update ourselves with what’s happening in their lives.
When we spend time with our kids, there is a big chance of spending lots of money! We eat outside. Go to the movies. Go shopping. Go to the beach and so on. There are a lot of activities that usually entails spending money.
Sometimes, we tell ourselves that spending lots of money is spending a lot of quality time with the kids. That’s a big LIE! More often than not, when we engage in money-spending activities we spend lesser time talking and mingling with the kids. When we go shopping, you’re conscious on what to buy. When we eat outside, we couldn’t spend much time talking because you don’t own the place – when your finish eating, you get out! When we go to the beach, you’re worried about the children’s safety.
Anyway, I am not saying that these activities are not good. They are actually fun and very addictive (especially shopping). What I am saying is, spending every Sunday with these kind of activities will really put the family off the budget. We also need to be practical.
Here some ideas on how to spend time with your kids affordably every Sunday:
• Plan your day. Don’t forget to attend church. This is a must priority in your Sunday schedule. Plot it anytime you want, as long as it’s part of the schedule. • After church (for us, it’s always around 4pm), go home. Make sandwiches together. Let the children help you prepare their snacks. Make different sandwiches every other Sundays. Make your children experiment. After making your snacks, eat together and TALK! • If you have an aircon at home, you can turn it up…get the latest DVD, turn off the lights and watch together. You’re in your very own movie theater minus other people! After, discuss the movie and make sure that they have understood what lessons that they should imitate or what shouldn’t. • Buy coloring books or print from the internet. Let their creative mind go to work. Color with them while TALKING. You can also have crafts. • You can also spend time with them at the bed or at the sofa…I call it “lazy afternoon” or “loving-loving.” Just lie around and snuggle each other or plainly talk about anything.
There are a lot of ways…just be creative on how to do it. Just make sure that the common denominator is “communication.” Make sure that you talk with each other. Give the children the opportunity to talk about their lives, their needs & wants, their ideals and perceptions. When they talk and you listen…it’s another manifestation of love!
Last Monday, I reported back to work. Read almost 100 emails and replied only to 1/8 of which. Checked on sales and recruitment updates. Checked on reports. Checked on the branch’s physical assets and even checked if the premises are secured. Said hi to almost known and unknown dealers. Assisted in the transaction area. And bang! I just realized that I am not yet physically OK. My back hurts and my joints all over my body also hurts.
When I stayed at home, I though I was physically OK. I now realized that my body is not yet in tuned for work. Anyway, it’s already too late and I have reported back. I have to answer all the pending questions, reports, projects, concerns, etc. which I was already doing at home even when I was on leave.
There was no difference between being at work and at home. I still do the same job responsibilities, except all the physical works, when I stayed (supposedly resting) at home.
Nope! I am not complaining with my job since I love what I am doing. The only thing that I felt and should be complaining about is my back and my joints. Gosh…I am still 28 years old but I felt like I am more like 75! Hehehe…
Anyway, since I am back at work, I am not always online, Of course during the evenings, but I can’t write or check on things that often. I will try to write and update everybody about my challenging life or the things I love to do (online business) as much as possible. And hey! I haven’t written my history yet…hehehe…I thing it’s for MMK material (local t.v. drama anthology).
So that’s it folks! I am back at work. I may not be online as possible but I am always hoping to keep in touch.
I just have something that I would like to point out to you. This is something that will come up from time to time - and you will have to deal with it. So, here is a comparison that will help you answer the question, "Do You Own Your OBA Business?"
I have a very good friend who wanted to own her own business - she chose a McDonald's franchise. I had the pleasure of working side-by-side with this great lady as she began her career as a McDonald's Restaraunt Owner.
Let's compare a few things: Donna purchased franchise rights from McDonald Corporation. She purchased land and had a restaraunt built to McDonald's specifications. You purchased a digital product (ebook) from OBA's soon-to-be digital library. You obtained free web hosting to host your sales page. Your sales page was built according to Dave's specifications.
Comparison - Both businesses began pretty much the same way. Something was purchased, resale rights were given, and you became a representative of a larger business. McDonald's provided Donna with a business plan, products to sell, and support from the McDonald's Corporation. OBA (Dave) provided you with a business plan, products to sell, and support from the CEO and every other OBA affiliate who wishes to participate in the OBC.
Comparison: Both companies provided a business plan, a product, and support. McDonald's gives franchise owners choices about whether or not they wish to provide specialty sandwiches on the menu. McDonald's does have some stipulations that are in place to protect McDonald's Corporation and individual franchise owners. Donna chooses how she runs her business - she chooses her managers, she chooses her hours of operation, and she chooses her employees. OBA gives affiliates choices about which products they wish to sell - you choose whether you want to only sell digital products or if you also wish to participate in building a business that earns you recurring monthly income. OBA has rules and stipulations in place in order to protect OBA and individual OBA affiliates. You choose how much time you want to dedicate to your business, how you want to advertise your business, and how far you want to take your business.
Comparison: Both companies have rules in place for the protection of both the company and the individual business owners. Both companies allow you the freedom to decide how to run your business and how successful you want to be. McDonald's Corporation earned a one-time franchise fee and earns a recurring, monthly income. Dave earns a one-time admin fee when someone leases an Adspace and a recurring monthly income from the programs.
Comparison: Both business plans work the same. Should McDonald's Corporation make money by offering people a chance to own their own businesses? Sure - or there would be no McDonald's Corporation. Should the CEO of OBA make money by offering people a chance to own their own businesses? Sure - or there would be no OBA.
Does Donna own her own business? You better believe she does! (now 4 total)
Do you own your own OBA business? You better believe you do! And, you have the option of making your business just what you want it to be!

I have been online for many years now. I was so addicted with the internet. I loved to surf, read and even joining all free “get paid to” programs that I came across with. There were a lot of legitimate and good paying programs (meaning until now they exist and many were paid) back then but I was not able to join or pursue since they only accept Paypal as a way to get paid with your commissions. But for short, I was not able to pursue all those that I have joined because I only accessed the internet through cafes. I have no direct access at home. Those were the times that I started day dreaming about working at home. Most of those that inspired me were foreigners working at there homes but now, even Filipinos are earning too! Well, enough with history!
When I came across the news that Paypal was now accepting members from the Philippines, I was very happy. Pinoys and Pinays (Philippine-based) can now actually send and receive money over the internet and transact business worldwide. By the way, there is no problem when it comes to funding your Paypal account. You can fund it using your credit cards or even debit cards. As for withdrawals, that’s the most excellent news. You can withdraw money (commissions, remittances or payments) using the debit cards offered by one of our leading local banks. Yup! You can now use Unionbank’s EON Cyber Account both to fund and withdraw money. Of course, there are fees of all sorts but for the sake of online transaction efficiency, safety and convenience, it's worth the take.
How to connect Paypal with your Unionbank EON Account?
1. First you need to have a Paypal Account. If you don’t have one and plans to do business online or has an existing one, I suggest you sign-up here and get a personal account.
2. After signing with Paypal, visit Unionbank's Official Website to apply for an EON Cyber Account online. The card can be picked-up after 3 to 5 banking days from the branch where you have nominated to get the card. By the way, when you get your card, make sure you bring 2 valid I.D.s with their photocopies and at least 500 to 1000 pesos for initial deposit (though initial deposit is not required). I will explain later why you need to deposit initially. By the way, don’t forget to sign their hardcopy form so that your account will be activated. This again usually takes 3 to 5 banking days for it to be activated but I suggest you put on your beautiful smile and ask if your account can be activated immediately since your going to link it with your Paypal. I got mine activated the next day.
3. When you have your card and have deposited an initial amount, go back to Unionbank's Official Website to get your EON Cyber Account enrolled to internet banking. After enrolling your account, it takes 48 hours for you to login and start online banking. You can’t skip this one, so you have to wait.
4. When your account is already active, go back to Paypal and add your EON Cyber Account. Paypal will charge you with $1.95 as an Expanded Use Fee (use to verify your accounts real existence and this is the reason why you need to have an initial deposit). After 5 banking days (since the day you added the card to your Paypal Account), call Unionbank Toll Free Customer Service Number (1-800-1888-2277) to get your Expanded Use Number.
5. Once you acquired the Expanded Use Number, login to your Paypal account and continue with your EON Account registration (adding or enrolling your card). Now that your added and completely verified by Paypal, your sending and withdrawal limits will be lifted. And now, you won't be having a problem when it comes to withdrawing your money. You can withdraw your money through Unionbank ATM (highly recommended since there will be no withdrawal charge).
Now, you are geared for an online business or personal transaction even if you are based in thePhilippines.

Filipina Mothers nowadays has sprung from a simple housewife to the presidential seat. They are mostly educated and working in tandem with their husbands…gone where the times when they are only found at home taking care of the children.
My late grandmother was a very sweet and tender person. Since the time I knew her, I never saw her leave the house and go to work. She was very committed to her chosen vocation – housewife. I admire the way she took care of my grandfather, her children and grandchildren.
My mother on the other hand was a business woman. She left home to do her business but has a lot of time when I needed her. She was a market vendor. And when she has given her place to my sister, she sold lemon juice inside the public market. Guess what! She doesn’t stay in one place but she tours the area carrying her ice bucket full of lemon juice. She influenced me the most. I grew up in the public market…selling plastic bags and Filipino delicacies (biko, etc). When I was in elementary, I used to sell my pad paper by piece. She was a housewife and a businesswoman at the same time.
As for me, I am handling one of the branches of a leading direct selling & networking company. Yup! I am paid to help people earn extra income. I have chosen to work though I wanted to do business because of financial reasons. I am a career mom. I am mostly seen at work than at home…and even on Sundays.
Many Filipina mothers have chosen their vocation due to many reasons. Mostly in the Philippine setting, one of the major reasons they chose to become career women is because of financial deficiency to supply the basic need of a family. We sacrifice a lot of our time with the children to provide for them.
Whatever is your position right now, be a housewife, a businesswoman or a career mom, we are still women with great responsibilities. We have grown very far. We have become a helpmate to our husbands not only at home but even with the bills. But let us not forget the essence of a Filipina mother…we value family more than anything.
I was searching in the internet for ways to beautify my blog. I cam across some free templates and downloaded. There were many beautiful templates that I loved to try…combine colors and columns. So, I tried my very best to use these by following all the instructions. And to my amazement! I lost all the things I have worked for the past few days.
I couldn’t believe my eyes. My blog was gone! All I can see was all the codes that I really (honestly) don’t understand. I was about to cry. Being a first time blogger for a few days and I have been victimized by my own curiosity! I was starting to panic when I couldn’t see my “layout guide” anymore. That’s the only thing that I really treasured the most when using “BLOGGER.” It’s the thing that I appreciate compared to other blogsites I have been with.
Anyway, I wanted to write about this, just to share the horror of losing your first blogsite makes me scared and laugh at the same time. Maybe some of you here experienced this kind of horror in your blogging days. To be honest, I am not that technically inclined with codes and whatever they use to create good blogsites but definitely, I thank God for the good people who crated ways to make blogging easy for everybody,
Well, yes, I was able to find ways to get my blog back but surely…you will be seeing the same look for the next few months until I get the hang of it.
I felt stupid though. But I felt thankful for the experience. You will never learn to appreciate something until you loss it. Just like any other thing or person.
I hope you smiled when reading this. It was meant to make you laugh!
As a mother and a career woman, I am always torn between two lovers – my family and my job. No doubt that everybody loves their families but how about our jobs…do we love them? For me, I do love my job. It is very challenging and at the same time you get to help many people earn income (I worked with a direct selling & networking company). Yup! I have helped people (mostly housewives) earn more than 20,000 pesos per month. Unfortunately, most of my time has been consumed by my job. I work from 8:30AM up to 7:30PM and almost 7 days a week. Most of the time, I am out of town or in the Head Office for a meeting. I have few hours to spend with my husband and my children. As it is, I see my children growing but not the way I wanted them to be. I could not deny the fact that children taken cared by grandparents or house help have different personalities than children mentored by their own parents – especially mothers (“ilaw ng tahanan” – light of the house). Enough with the guilt talking! When I was a younger mom back then (and I am still now young and sexy – hehehe), I always dreamt of having my own business and stay at home with my kids while my husband goes to work. Since I married at a very young age, I lacked the experience and the capital to do so. So what I did, I tried everything – from direct selling companies, pulvoron, yema, etc. but it was not enough since my husband’s work was not that good paying. Needing so much for two children, I looked for a job and postponed my love for business.
Now, I am infront of my computer and 5 thousand in the bank (that’s not a joke), I am once again dreaming for a home-based business. I have searched all over the internet and found out that most (please take note - not all) offered opportunity are scams. Yes! I can say to myself that I have been scammed many times. But of course, I am a very stubborn person so I searched for an opportunity for me. And then, I saw one and I started marketing it. It’s a real and legitimate business and many are earning (specially my fellow pinoys and pinays too….my sponsor is a pinoy and his sponsor was a pinoy….). Please feel free to visit the site at http://www.dreamteamformula.com/go/pinaymommy . I hope you find it helpful. Don’t worry…you have 7 days trial. So for 7 days, it’s free to join. Fair enough isn’t it? But for me, I am already a paying member. If you are still new in the business, I can teach you how to setup your business worldwide in a pinoy-friendly setting.
Since, I am still at work. I am doing everything part-time. I do the business that I just mentioned earlier and of course my own business…selling my services. I am not that very good in writing things but I love writing about things that I know and interest me the most. I am also good in encoding. I like doing things with my computer. I have a Pentium Dual Core processor PC, a DSL connection, a colored & dot matrix printers, telephone and headset. So, if you have a job for me…contact me also. Send me an email.
When the time comes, I will be leaving my job and pursue the life of a work-at-home mom and be with my husband & my children; to earn money and not sacrifice my responsibility as a mother and wife.
I will tell you honestly, torn between to lovers in very hard. You have to chose which one you will prioritize. Just like what the Bible says…no one can serve two masters at the same time, either you will love or hate the other. Since TIME is also called LOVE, you can easily identify which of the things you really love by analyzing how much time have you spent for them.
For me, I have already chosen. How about you?
If you love your family, decide and plan everything carefully. Don’t leave your job abruptly. We still need money to survive you know. Sometimes, it takes many years just to prepare. The important thing is – you chose the best way. Don’t feel guilty about having a job, it pays the bills and everything but having a business one day, will also do that for you as well but more. You will have a time for your family than a job.
10 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. 11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. 13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. 14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. 15 She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. 16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. 17 She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. 18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. 19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. 20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. 23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. 24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. 25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. 26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29 "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." 30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. 31 Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
