I believe that sometimes the more you chase after something the less you will get of it and somehow that is the effect of PR. I don't do link trains etc because I don't think it is a good thing, I have done and still do sometimes link exchange but I prefer to get links from those who really enjoy my blogs. Of course you want to stay at home with your girls and want to do it through blogging if I understand right. But have you looked into doing other things or perhaps even setting up another blog? Then your chances would improve. <br/><br/>I don't know if Smorty has anything to do with it but I do know that categorizing "paid links" or PPP could make Google a little itchy if you know what I mean. :)<br/><br/>A clean looking blog appeals more than a cluttered one, nothing wrong in having lots of things in your sidebar or on the blog in general but it can be a matter of how you add things that makes people stay or go.
