My First Blogger’s Meet-up in Bacolod City
Mommy May of Now Serving Nhima invited me via plurk to have an eyeball last month. We decided to meet up because she wanted to invite me to a small gathering of bloggers from Bacolod. So, just yesterday, I was able to finally meet few bloggers from Bacolod City. We had an informal chat about ourselves and experiences in the blogging scene.
After a few hours, we have decided to organize a group to gather Negros Bloggers in time to accommodate a big event that will hit Bacolod City on July 4, 2009. Ms. Janette Toral author of Blogging from Home will be coming over to Bacolod City to conduct a Networking Event for bloggers from Bacolod and the rest of the Negros Island. It’s a get-together event that will focus on many things that will help bloggers learn more about blogging and making money online.
Here is a picture that was taken during our blogger’s meet-up yesterday at Starbucks Lacson. In the picture (from left) are Daddy Dennis the husband of Mommy Sigrid who followed next, Mommy May, Ms. MM, Ms. Gladys, Mommy Maricar and of course, me!
By the way, if you are a blogger from Bacolod or anywhere in the Island of Negros and interested to meet new friends, I am inviting you to come and visit Negros Bloggers, a temporary site that we have setup to gather information and contact details. We will use this info to contact you for the latest updates and future blogger’s meet-ups prior and after the event on July 4.
Anyway, I would like to thank Mommy May and Ms. Gladys for spearheading this blogger’s meet-up and Ms. Janette Toral for contacting me about this rare opportunity to learn more about blogging and more!
