AirCon in Taxis Makes my Children Puke

We have a two air conditioning unit at home, one at my father’s room and one at my room. My father got his from his father actually while I just bought it last month. Actually, it’s not a luxury for us but a necessity because of my children’s health.

Anyway, my children loved to turn the air conditioning unit on when at home but when we ride a taxi, we would always request that the driver turn-off the air conditioning system of the car. My children don’t like the smell of the car and it makes them puke. I firmly believed that the car freshener is doing that to my children but the driver commented that air conditioning system of cars have its distinctive smell already because of the a/c compressor it uses. Well, whatever that is, every time we ride a taxi we always inhale the fresh (NOT!) metropolitan air.
