This morning I received an email from P.P.P. that my blog has been approved. I was so very happy and excited to grab an opportunity and to finally start a “paid blogging!” And then I realized that I have changed my domain name already and so as the lost of all my rankings both in Google, Alexa and Izea. So, I immediately submitted a ticket to their Customer Love asking about this and later around 1:00am, I checked my email again for a reply. There it was…my new domain name can’t be used for my P.P.P. opportunity.

It’s been 2 days and a half that I took care of the children and the house by myself. My house help left me last Monday because of some family emergency, which I realized after she left that she brought with her my other mobile phone. So as expected, she didn’t come back and I was left to take an emergency leave myself from work. Meaning, I will be here until Friday to become the “work-at-home” mom that I wanted to be. As a mother and a career woman, I am always torn between two lovers – my family and my job. No doubt that everybody loves their families but how about our jobs…do we love them? For me, I do love my job. It is very challenging and at the same time you get to help many people earn income (I worked with a direct selling & networking company). Yup! I have helped people (mostly housewives) earn more than 20,000 pesos per month. Unfortunately, most of my time has been consumed by my job. I work from 8:30AM up to 7:30PM and almost 7 days a week. Most of the time, I am out of town or in the Head Office for a meeting. I have few hours to spend with my husband and my children. As it is, I see my children growing but not the way I wanted them to be. I could not deny the fact that children taken cared by grandparents or house help have different personalities than children mentored by their own parents – especially mothers (“ilaw ng tahanan” – light of the house). Enough with the guilt talking! When I was a younger mom back then (and I am still now young and sexy – hehehe), I always dreamt of having my own business and stay at home with my kids while my husband goes to work. Since I married at a very young age, I lacked the experience and the capital to do so. So what I did, I tried everything – from direct selling companies, pulvoron, yema, etc. but it was not enough since my husband’s work was not that good paying. Needing so much for two children, I looked for a job and postponed my love for business.
