Last November 22 – 24, 2011, my family and I went to Manila to celebrate my son and my husband’s birthday aside from the Pinay Mommies Community Second Grand Eyeball and the Postcrossing Enthusiasts Grand Eyeball. We booked our flight last March 2011 and were fortunate enough to avail of the Cebu Pacific Air Piso Fare Promo. I paid around 3500+ pesos for a round trip ticket for the whole family.
During our stay in Manila, we temporarily resided at the Gran Prix Hotel & Suites Manila. So far the place was clean and the price was budget-friendly. The staff were also accommodating though I had a hard time calling them prior to our date of check-in. The place was very ideal for us because we have plans of visiting Manila Ocean Park and Star City, both attractions were near.
My family had a great time in Manila despite the fact that our youngest daughter fell ill on the first day while our eldest on the last day (I think the weather came as a shock to them). They had a blast when we visited Star City. We enjoyed the family rides and games. My son won a little stuffed toy and I felt so proud of him. There were all smiles from children and also to my husband.
Whenever you plan to travel, especially with your family, and you have a limited time in your hands than you desired, the best places to go to so that you can maximize your trip is to sift the museums any place can offer. From the museums you will be able to learn a lot of stuff about the place. When you have learned which places are the most interesting then you can go there to experience what it is like in actual.
