Anyway, it was last year that I noticed this cute smileys used by Mommy Willa at fickleminded.net.At first, I just admired the cuteness and all but this year, I can’t help myself but asked Mommy Willa about it. The cuteness of these smileys haunts me in my waking hours! So, I have no choice but to use it!

As you can see, if coins from Facebook game applications were real, I would be very rich by now. Imagine? I have a pad for myself, a farm, few aquariums, a hotel, my own town and a company! All these things I was able to achieve, but only in Facebook!! LOL!!

I felt very bad because I wasn’t there to rescue her. I couldn’t blame my older daughter entirely since she is still young and being carefree is expected at her age.

Anyway, I am glad that the cold compress somehow helped in lessening the dark shades of her bumps. Aside from that, she was able to adjust normally and proceeded to be active after she cried from the fall.

After the fall, my husband and I sleep in an “L” pattern. We keep the baby inside the bed and we became human fences just in case she crawls again while we are sleeping. It is better to be safe than be sorry again.

I don’t remember the place where we stayed but it was big house with a big outdoor fireplace amidst the backyard garden. I was not able to copy the pictures from my friends so I only have few. Below are some of my solo pics in Baguio City.

Anyway, I wish to visit Baguio City again and this time with my family. How I wish we have the money to make grandeur vacations even here in the Philippines only.

As I mention in my earlier post, I want a digital camera because I want to make it a hoppy to take the best pictures of my family and also to take the best shots that I will feature as images to my post. I want a netbook or a laptop so that I can easily travel anywhere I want without worrying where I would access the internet.

So, if the money is right and God would allow such gadgets to be in my possession, I would become a very gadget happy mommy!

I am not a photography expert but I love taking pictures. I want my pictures to be clear and crisp that is why I heart a Nikon D5000. Anyway, since I could not afford to buy a Nikon D5000. I decided to save for it which I couldn’t guarantee its fulfillment because my income online is not enough to cover our debts and daily needs even if combined with my husband’s. But still my heart desires to have one. So, I will try my very best to save for it.

I am sure that there is no harm if a stay at home mommy desires to have a hobby of taking pictures of her family, her environment and her people.

Anyway, kidding aside, here are some of the first aid treatments I do to my children when the situation calls for it:

1. Mother’s kiss – Though there is no scientific evidence that a mother’s kiss can help wounds or cure diseases, I am sure it can comfort and heal you child’s discomfort. It’s a must for every pain, either physically or emotionally.
2. Coffee administration – Growing up with asthmatic children is quite hard. You need to deal with their pains when asthma attacks. So when it does, I usually give my children hard coffee as a first aid as it acts as a bronchodilator. Drinking coffee is an alternative bronchodilator that can help your children breathe if ventolin is not immediately around.
3. First Aid Kit – A home is incomplete when a first aid kit is not around. It is a must so that your family will get what they need when the situation arises.

Speaking about first aid kits, here are the usual contents of mine:
1. Isopropyl Alcohol – handy when it comes to minor cuts, bruises, insect bites and more. It also acts as a disinfectant in most cases.
2. Povidone iodine – the best antiseptic / disinfectant to any wounds for children. This is child friendly because they don’t feel any pain when applied.
3. Watsonal Castoria – this laxative syrup of babies comes very in handy when your baby is starting to eat solid foods. Prevents hard stools.
4. Non-aspirin PM- when you have a headache that needs sleep.
5. Biogesic – when I get a headache and needs to do something, this is my first aid.
6. Kremil S – my husband’s friendly medicine for his stomach upsets.
7. Mefenamic Acid – first aid to toothache and other pains.
8. Efficasent oil and Mansanilla – effective oils for adult and baby tummy aches.
9. Vicks Vaporab – used when the children can’t breathe because of clog nose.
10. Sodium Chloride – used when the baby can’t breathe because of clog nose.

For non-medicine contents, we have cotton balls, cotton buds, digital thermometers, band-aids, ice pack and doctor’s contact numbers.

Having a first aid kit comes in handy especially when you have a baby and two active children at home, no matter how we make all things safe for our children; there are some circumstances that a doctor in Mom is called for.

If you would see my face now, you might say I look older than my age. Well, I couldn’t blame myself. Even the best anti wrinkle face cream couldn’t help what I am feeling right now that shows lines in my face.

Anyway, I am planning to make things work by God’s grace. I know sometimes I am losing faith in miracles that might happen in my life but I am still hopeful that there is something to look forward too, maybe not today but in the coming days…months…years.

So, any idea guys? I may want to try having an acne treatment for a change. Maybe having one will give me another sense of life’s perspective!
