Flyer Distribution and Its Advantages

When I started my career at a direct selling company, I have observed that there is one marketing strategy that never failed – flyer distribution! They have this marketing strategy ever since they have begun their work in recruiting members to their business.

Now, why flyer distribution? Why does a company, like the one I was working before, cling into something that most company considers as old school? Based on my observation, flyer distribution has several advantages and here are some of them:

1. Affordable Investment – Flyers are cheap. They can be printed black and white or in full colors. Whichever you decide, the cost of flyer printing compared to other form of advertising is way much cheaper!

2. Immediate Result – Once you distribute flyers along a crowded area, you will see a lot of people getting it and most of them, will approach your booth immediately and inquire. So every time we give out flyers, we always have a table nearby for people to ask about products and services. You get what you hope for immediately – LEADS.

3. Wide Reach – Since flyers can be given to passer bys, your advertising campaign will not only reach a certain number of people. Some of the people who received yours flyers may have come from out of town. So, there is a possibility that you a reaching beyond what you hoped for.

4. Simple Strategy – Flyer distribution doesn’t require several months of planning. If you have flyers with you, just go to a crowded area and give it out to people. You can even give out flyers at your company’s office door where people pass by!

Therefore, I conclude that flyer distribution is highly effective. This old school way of marketing products and services will never go out of style!

    Using flyers is quite an old-fashioned way of promoting your business but it still works well. I used them a few years ago when I was promoting a CPA offer and I got around 22 signups from 2000 flyers, which more than covered my costs.
