My father left a few weeks ago. He went back home without me since I needed to finish some tasks here in Bacolod. Though the school year is far from over, I need to go back home as early as February. I will go there and help prepare our home renovation.
In less than two months from now, Halloween Parties will be celebrated in malls again. This time, I really wanted to let my children join. Yes, I want my three children including my youngest to join and enjoy a Halloween Party. It’s been many years already that my children are missing all the fun because we lack the budget to buy their Halloween costumes. That is why I have decided that I will save money for their costumes because I want them to enjoy Halloween this year! (more…)
The whole family (all the five of us, except for my mom) is sleeping inside one room – a very typical sleeping setup of an average Filipino family. As much as I wanted to get my children their own bedroom sets and teach them independency, I don’t have the luxury of spending another thousand on another air conditioning unit and on its monthly bill that it is going to generate in the future. We stay all together in a room for economic reasons none the less.
In our family, I am not the only one who is addicted tied to the internet. My husband and my two school-aged children love to go online too. My hubby checks his email and Facebook account while my two children plays online flash games and tinker with their Facebook accounts too. :computer:
