It is going to be Mother’s Day 2011 in a couple of weeks. Yes, the Philippines celebration of Mother’s Day is different from those in other countries. Nevertheless, the thought and the emotions are pretty much the same—we celebrate the women who brought us into this world and who toiled hard to raise us up to become responsible and loving adults.
Last year, we really didn’t have the plan to buy mattress bed. But since I was having a back pain and we have a new born in the house that we didn’t want to sleep on the floor, we decided to buy it even though it means we will be depleting my husband’s 13th month pay which means we will not have a bountiful Christmas celebration.
It was in the year 2007 when I was able to visit Baguio City for the second time. When I visited that time, it was one of the perks of the company where I worked with. We have our mid-year celebration there.
