It is going to be Mother’s Day 2011 in a couple of weeks. Yes, the Philippines celebration of Mother’s Day is different from those in other countries. Nevertheless, the thought and the emotions are pretty much the same—we celebrate the women who brought us into this world and who toiled hard to raise us up to become responsible and loving adults.
When I have chosen to become a Civil Engineering student, all I wanted was to learn how to build a bridge and be closed to my father (architect). Then after I graduated, I felt very much uninspired to pursue a profession based on my education. Aside from marrying early, my career path was driven to a different world. All my work experiences are related to sales.
