This blog was born out of depression due to the loss of my unborn child whom I fondly called Jonathan. I got out from the hospital November 26, 2007.
On the next day, I decided to surf the net since I have no work. I was resting at home. I visited my friendster account. There I found an email from my friend Lalaine asking me to visit her blog. So, I did visited her blog. I was very much impressed how she wrote about almost anything in her blog – experiences, marriage and her kids!! And that is when I decided to start blogging. That day – November 27, 2007 – my blog was born. She was named Pinay Mommy Online. Thus, emphasizing my nationality and my status in life in which I am really proud of.
Anyway, I wasn’t ready to blog yet. That’s why my usual post was just lyrics from songs I love and verses from the Bible that I wanted to emulate. I was not also ready to share my “not-so-beautiful” life to the world.
Since, I had a lot of time surfing the net, I came across a lot of opportunities in which I started to dream again – my dream of becoming a “stay-at-home-mom.” That was my long lost dream almost six (6) years ago. As I saw a lot of opportunities, I was really excited. I wanted to fulfill that dream. I started to join programs like GPT (get paid to). Some where the most common, get paid to click. In later days, I was able to discover a lot of things until I ended-up monetizing my blog and having a lot of friends online. I met a lot of people and some of them have been my constant chat mates.
I was really happy with the outcome. Though, I am not earning that much yet in blogging since my blog was just approved recently in the “get paid to blog” business and has just started to stay online with her own domain name; much of my earnings came from my PTC (paid to click) and my very first online business – OBA.
So, the truth about this blog is – it’s my medium to fulfill my dream – to stay at home and be with the children but still earning. I am not ashamed about it because I am so serious about how I felt. I am encountering a lot of challenges right now but hopefully, I want to be successful in being a woman embarking a real-life adventure. Be a mother to my kids almost 24 hours a day!!
I will be writing more here. This is not a “all happy” blog. This is a “real me” blog. Thus, not all things that I blog about will have a positive aura but it will also deal with the realities of life and how good and bad it is at times. But one thing for sure, this is a “proud mommy” blog and I am happy about it.
Come with me and see how my journey will be!

add this my new domain too.
Hi Pinay Mommy…
Just doing some rounds here. I have not been able to do that in a while because I got busy [still is actually] with a lot of things. I am so behind with a lot things that I don’t even know when I’ll be able to do them all…but, I’m taking it one day at a time.
Thanks for sharing the story behind this blog. It’s always nice to know the origin of something.
Take care and enjoy your weekend!
Juliana
