White Circles

Written on January 15, 2010 – 7:41 am | by Pinay Mommy |

When my baby was born, I look into my baby’s mouth and saw that there were white circles on her gums. At first, I thought it was neonatal herpes caused by Herpes Simplex 1 (HSV – 1) Type 2 or a yeast infection which is commonly known as thrush. But as she grows older, I noticed that it somehow disappeared.

Now, I am kind of worried what those white circles are. I was wondering if they were harmful or not or might cause some other infection or caused by one. Though it was all gone, I am still anxious if it will come back. But if it does, I am ready…ready to bring her to the doctor!
