Wow Pinay: Gina Pareno

While I was checking my email at Yahoo and logged out, I was amazed to see a flashing headline that actress, Gina Pareno, won the best supporting actress award at the Third Asian Film Awards. She won this award from the film “Serbis” with of course the ever so bold, naked scene.

Anyway, correct me if I am wrong, I guess this is Gina Pareno’s second international award. I guess the first one was from the movie “Kubrador.” Oh well, second or not, hearing these kind of news really makes me more proud of our country, the Philippines.

This is another Wow Pinay moment! Go Filipinas! Go Philippines!

It’s been quite a long time since I visited your blog mommy ruby. I definitely salute Gina Pareno. Her role in Tayong Dalawa always makes me laugh especially when she had some fight scenes with Helen Gamboa’s character. Congrats for another achievement!
