There’s a song that goes, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” alluding to the crystal clear gemstones which everyone wants to get their hands on. Diamonds are stunning, that much is true. But to tell you quite frankly, I’d rather shy away from the norm. I figured, if I would buy myself a diamond ring or a pair of diamond earrings, why not spend my money on jewelry with a blue diamond instead?
Remember the movie Titanic where the character of Leonardo DiCaprio sketched Kate Winslet’s character while wearing only a piece of necklace? The pendant was called “The Heart of the Ocean” and it was a blue diamond. That very same movie opened the public’s eye to the existence of blue diamonds.
A blue diamond is considered very rare and is very expensive. With those attributes, what lady can resist making a blue diamond her new best friend?
