It would have been ideal to have a husband who knows his way around carpentry and tools. It would’ve saved us a considerable amount of money spent on minor house repairs like a leaking faucet, a faulty electrical wiring or a clogged plumbing. We can use the extra money to spend on other basic necessities, too. Having a Handy-Manny for a husband will probably entail regular afternoon visits to the nearest hardware shopping for nuts and bolts, tools and spring clamps. I am only glad that my husband is one of those Handy Manny’s and can work his way around nuts and bolts.
