There was this one time when a man passing by, carrying some paraphernalia asked me if I have a broken watch or lost pair of earring, or an old coin. I asked him why is he asking, then he replied that he wants to buy broken watches, as well as, buy gold. I once again asked him what he will do with the broken watch. He told me that he check the watch first if it is sill repairable and if not, he will take some useful parts from it and transfer it to another one that needs it and that is when he can sell those repaired watches.
Since I have some broken watches, as well as, lost pair of old earrings, I sold it to him. Though not as valuable as I thought, money is still money. When the man was gone, I bought some snacks, using that money, for my family. See? That’s wise…
