WAHM

Being a WAHM is a Choice

Loading

Being a work at home mom is not easy, most of the time you are trapped between household chores, parenting, online workloads and more. As for me, I live in a very big and chaotic family. My life at home is too complicated compared while I was working for others outside the house.

This photo was taken from our old house. Please don’t mind my posture. LOL!!!

Though my life as a WAHM (work-at-home mom) is complicated, I still choose this career over working at the corporate world. Aside from being with the kids 24/7, the feeling of having no boss, no pressure to play along office politics and daily traffic is already blissful!

Well, you might say my previous work was boring that is why you thought I am capable of saying such a thing but hey, it was not close to boring mind you. It was a fulfilling career since I was managing a branch for one of the top direct selling company here in the Philippines with lots of perks and benefits. But as for me, I choose to be with the kids and work from home. I don’t want to miss the growing years of my three lovely children for the world!!

Being a WAHM is a choice, though it might not work for everyone, but I opted to be one. Since I got married eleven years ago, I already told my husband that I want to be a work-at-home mom. I want to earn money while attending the kids. So after 8 years, I got my dreams fulfilled and will talk more about that on how I came to be a WAHM in my future posts… See yeah!

I also started being a WAHM in 2008 when I started having Internet connection at home; that’s when I asked my boss if I can just do my work at home, instead of going to the office. It’s hard adjusting to being a WAHM at first because there are lots of distractions and you need discipline to be able to accomplish your daily tasks, but I survived and still surviving, I guess! This new baby blog rocks! Congratulations!

I admire how you can manage your time Mommy. It’s really noble to be a mom and at the same time work for your kids’ benefits. I’d like to learn more, I’m a new SAHM trying to earn/work from home too. =)

Proud #WAHM here! I decided to be one when my eldest daughter came to my life. I’m enjoying every bit of it. My kids also enjoyed it too since they can always see me at home. Kudos to all #WAHM out there! 🙂
