Bible Verses to Live By

Being religious is being devoted. That means “failure to do” has no place in your system. Once you fail, you live a guilt stricken life. That is why I believed that God did not invented religion. He knows that humans fail and that we could not do things by ourselves. We need His guidance. That is why in my earlier post, I said that I wasn’t a religious person because I do fail at times (actually many times). I did have many wrong decisions in life and made several mistakes. I am nowhere near the word “PERFECT.”

But in this life of mine, I do have many Bible verses that I take into heart as a motto, and one of those is found at Ephesians 2:7-9. It says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” This Bible verse constantly reminds me that my salvation could not be acquired by my own strength but it’s a gift from God. It’s a gift that can only be received once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior in our life. Find out more about true salvation by reading the Bible more often.
