Call me OC but lately, I have noticed that my blog is loading so slowly. Some said that the loading of my blog is like curtains falling slowly in theaters. For some, with lightning speed connections, the loading is OK. But as for me, it was like so forever and I am not happy.
And because of this, I decided to make a drastic change. First, I deactivated 16 out of my 32 plugins installed but nothing happened. Second, I decided to ask my friend and web designer, Mommy Carlota of Simple Blog Makeover, to change my theme (Now, it’s so awesomely cute! Thank you so much!) and still nothing happened. And finally, just a few minutes ago, I deleted some widgets that I can live if they are not in my blog and still nothing happened!!
So, what do you think could be the problem? Is it that I am so OC with the loading part of my blog or my internet connection is just so slow? 😀
Unlike you, I don’t own my own domain. I’m using blogspot. But still, I wish my blog can load faster. Pano nga kaya? Hope you won’t mind if I take a peak every now and then to see what valuable tips your readers will leave on their comments. Thanks in advance ha!

By the way, I just visited your blog and encountered it too. I am not sure but it seems to validate my suspicion. We have a common ads that loads slow. 🙁
Baka naman it might be your internet connection? I’ve experienced my blog loading really slow before but only in places when my broadband stick gets really crappy signals. =)
You are not alone. I really hate it when my blog loads slowly. I checked my blogs loading time using an online tool but the results actually looks good. Probably it’s with our internet connection.
I think internet connection sometimes yon blog ko ang bagal din eh there are times naman mabilis.
Maybe you can use the WP Super Cache plugin to increase the loading speed of your blog. What it does is that it provides a “cached” version of your blog instead of serving up a new page every time someone visits your blog.
i just did some test on your site and you have a total of 813.6KB just for images alone. hindi pa included ang 656.8KB from your your scripts. and there are other things that affect your page size and load speed pa (CSS, plug-ins etc). maybe, optimizing your images would help…

It took time to load on my end too. Maybe we are both suffering from bad internet connection. 🙁
I also ditched some widgets yesterday in the hopes that it will help speed up my blog’s loading time. Good luck to us. And no, you are not being OC.

it’s all depends on the internet connection and the speed of the employee who works on them. these are main reasons why it is so slow.

Hey i just do not feel that your blog is getting loaded slowly. I think it opened just on time may be something is really wrong with your internet connection as it is working well on my side!!!

This is usually the common problem of most bloggers. But I think it is really the ads that makes the loading too slow..
i think you have already resolved this issue as your site loads fast naman now.
Im curious what you determined the problem was. My blog is loading terribly slow!
