Blogging in Mountainous Area??

Loading

My husband and I have been talking about moving to a less polluted environment. With that in mind, we wanted to move to the mountainous area. We are eying on a place outside our city where my husband’s parents have a small milling shop. My husband thought that since he has no work yet, maybe he could watch over the shop and do the business while I continue my blogging career.

Unfortunately, if we decide to move there, we have one main problem. The area doesn’t have an internet connection. No local company can provide us there. Yes, we can have all the electricity we have but not internet service providers.

Well, the thought of finding suitable satellite internet providers came to mind too, but the problem is we don’t have one here. We don’t have satellite internet providers like BusinessCom in the US who is known to be one of the best in the industry. They can provide whatever internet connections you may need even if your house or business is found in a remote area.

Anyway, I am hoping that someday a satellite internet provider will be available here in our city. It that day comes, I am sure my children will be running along abundant greeneries and breathing fresh air. And probably, my children will live an asthma-free life!!

    Hi mommy rubz,

This is exactly what I am doing right now. Blogging in a very mountainous locality – just where both I and my husband both grew up. At the back of our house is a small forest so its very cold at night and we don’t even need aircon. Everywhere, all you see are green things – trees, mountains etc. We live near chocolate hills so when I’m stressed from work, all I do is to have a visit there and be refreshed by the air. My only problem is internet connection. There’s no more available spot but I’m using smartbro since we’re just next where the smart signal is. But, broadband would have been a lot better.

I prefer staying in the province than in the city when it comes to pollution matters.. pero when it comes to accessibility of some technological benefits like internet connections, advance lagi ang nasa city…

the way the posts and the comments describe life in the province makes me think of living outside of the city too. it seems so peaceful there. i hope an internet connection would soon be available there.

we live 20 kms away from the city mommy rubz and it was only two years ago when we had our internet connection. this is through towers and receivers. yeah, and living here in the countryside really is beneficial… i love it here. hope you’ll have an internet provider soon.

This post is making me miss my family who lives in our province at Mt. Banahaw, though there is no pollution, there are also disadvantages like getting too far from the center of the needs,(malls, hospitals, markets), but I love staying there , I felt less problematic if I’m there 🙂
