While Americans have the Black Friday sales, the Canadians have a Boxing Day. It is one day in the year when stores in Canada bring down their prices so low that the citizens bring home boxes of goodies after a day of shopping.
A friend of mine in Canada went to both the boxing day in stores and online. She has bought a lot of stuff to take home when she comes back to the Philippines in a couple of months.
It would be great to have sales like that in the Philippines where prices are slashed to very low level. It would be a consumer event of the year!
