Families, arguments, stress. The three are interconnected and bound tightly together by an invisible twine. It is inescapable for the functional family. We have all experienced the stresses of life that can spring on you unwittingly, and we can all agree that being stressed is never a pleasant experience. Our pets are very similar to us in that they can also be prone to experience the unpleasantries of stress, and like us, can cause problems and affect their behaviour.
Animals for many different reasons can start showing signs of stress whether it is a change of home or adjusting to a new family member. Also, as some animals get older their brains will start to deteriorate and dementia may set in and this can lead them to feel unsettled and feel confused by their environment.

There are a range of pet calmers available on the Internet that will be able to quickly solve this problem. Each type is designed for a specific animal (there are even horse calmers) and releases certain pheromones into their environment helping to calm them. You can also take oral tablets and supplements that are designed to work from within thereby controlling their mood and instantly calming them down.
If you do have a large animal, such as a horse, then you may be transporting them around for various shows and events in which case it is important to use a calmer. This means that you will be able to transport your animal knowing that it is not going to get overly anxious during the process.
Zylkene is a type of calmer that works well with dogs and cats and is especially useful when moving house. This can be one of the most stressful times for an animal as they do not understand why they have been put into a new unknown territory. Feliway also helps with this problem and both come in orally administered forms.
It is important to calm your dog as they may start to part excessively throughout the night and be alarmed at any strangers that they see. There would be fewer negative reports in the press about dogs attacking people if more people would be using special calmers to make their dog feel relaxed throughout stressful times.
Cats are very territorial and are used to be given free rein over their area. When moving house, because they are very new to their surroundings they may wonder off and get lost or try and find their original home.
If you are unsure about what types of animal calmers that you should be using then you will need to visit your local vets and they will be able to recommend a suitable product for you.
hi mommy rubs, just got back again…visiting your amazing site…anyways pets are cute and cuddly.
This reminds me of my pet dog. He snores more loudly now. Wonder if it’s because of stress…? 🙁
Thanks for the suggestion but I don’t really like the idea of giving my pets calmers. If there are other ways that could take away their stress aside from drugs would be much preferable to me. Still, I have no idea on the right method. LOL.
I would love to have dog or a cat at home but my mom does not permit me. I only have fish as pet.
