CDO Bloggers Blogging 101 Workshop

CDO Bloggers’ Blogging 101 Workshop

Earlier today, I had the privilege to talk again during the CDO Bloggers’ Blogging 101 Workshop. This is part of the CDO Bloggers Members Development Program which will be a series of seminars and workshops geared towards the upgrading the skills of each member. The Blogging 101 Workshop was just the first for this year.

Blogging 101 Resource Speaker

I have been a resource speaker for Blogging 101 for many years now. In fact, this was my third for this year. The first was in Ozamis City and the second one is with Manila Workshop that was held here in Cagayan de Oro City. And to be honest, I am very happy to be a part of the lives of many aspiring bloggers. There are times that I often think that I am called Mommy Ruby, not because of I a mom, but because I am a mommy of a lot of bloggers. I have been a part of many beginnings in many of my blogger friends.

And even how many times I am invited to talk about the same topic, I will never lose interest because I am happy to impart my knowledge to everyone who is sincerely interested in learning the craft.

Few in Numbers but Loads of Laughter

One to One Learning

Our Blogging 101 Workshop only had a few attendees. One newbie member attended and the rest were old members. So we spent the time bonding and sharing views of why we are blogging. While our newbie member learned about choosing a blogging platform and how to start a blog in both WordPress and

The workshop was provided FREE for all members. So we weren’t expecting any food during the event. But fortunately, Krispy Kreme Philippines was kind enough to sponsor the event. We all enjoyed our favorite original glazed doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. And since it was also Krispy Kreme’s 82nd birthday, few of our members who were celebrating their birthday today got the limited time offer Mini Birthday Cake that comes with a box and candle.

We would like to thank the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Mindanao Cluster 2 for our comfortable venue. Thank you for always supporting events related to ICT here in Cagayan de Oro City!

So in short, we had a wonderful time learning and getting to know more about each other over delicious Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnuts and hot coffee inside the cool and comfortable ambiance at the DICT Tech4Ed Center!
