CDO Mommy Blogger Supports Nationwide Kilusang Kontra Kuto

Nationwide Kilusang Kontra Kuto is a coalition of head lice prevention experts and advocates led by Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo, the Department of Education (DepEd), UP Manila College of Public Health, Mommy Bloggers Philippines, and Drugstores Association of the Philippines. This coalition aims to achieve a kuto-free Philippines.

The Nationwide Kilusang Kontra Kuto, now on its third year, aims to make a bigger impact and wider reach in order to eliminate kuto infestation problems in public schools. Their goal is to educate the public about the problem by visiting different schools in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

A study shows that “kuto infestation” is considered the second most common health problem in public schools in the Philippines next to tooth decay. Though it is not a fatal condition or life-threatening, the problem must be given attention since it affects the children’s health, self-confidence, and decreases academic performance.

As a member of Mommy Bloggers Philippines, I join the cause in promoting awareness about this kuto infestation problem in our public school children. I also believed that this problem can also be solved by adhering to correct information and appropriate treatment and control methods. One of these is by using Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo as an effective solution to eliminate and prevent head lice in children.

Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo comes in 60ml bottles and 10ml sachets. It comes in two variants, the regular Licealiz, and the Licealiz Soothing Coolness. It is also available in leading supermarkets and drugstores nationwide.
