Every time my father calls, he always try to convince me to go back home. He said that our city is much safer from floods than my current location. I told him I am not interested in going back besides it is hard to find cross country movers especially when you are moving from an island to another. The expenses are high and it would be traumatic for both the children and us.
Anyway, I am not saying I am closing down the idea but as of now, I don’t see how I could relive my life again in my hometown after the bad memories that were created there. I couldn’t find anything worth living there except for my parents.
