Excited to Hit the Beach

I’m already excited because in a couple of months, my family and I will be going back home to my hometown, CDO. That would be right in time for my kids’ summer vacation from school and my excitement is doubled because I know that my kids will have a summer to remember. Why? Well, there are plenty of beautiful beaches there and since it would be summer, that kids will have a grand time swimming to their hearts’ content. That would bode well for me too because I can take along my netbook with me and work on the sidelines while I watch my kids enjoy the beach.

Basically, I would be hitting two birds with one stone – I would still be able to work and look after my kids at the same time – when I hit the beach this summer. Okay, maybe I wouldn’t be spending the entire time at the beach working. I don’t want to be too harsh on myself. After all, it’s my kids’ summer vacation and I want to spend the whole of it with them and try to give them my undivided attention. Maybe I’d dip in the water too. Or better yet, I’d ride a bike and go around the beach with my youngest. I saw some beach cruiser bikes on sale the other day and they would be perfect for going around the beach.

Biking can make one lose weight, too, right? Well that would be perfect because maybe then I’d get to lose a few of my unwanted pounds at the same time. Now the prospects for this summer are really making me super excited. I hope my kids are excited as well even if a part of their summer vacation will consist mostly of our transition and relocation to another place.
