Family Bonding In Front of the TV

Posted on May 8, 2013March 29, 2020 by MOMMY RUBY

Now that children take a break from school and get to spend most of their days at home, one perfect bonding activity for the whole family to try is to spend time catching up on all your favorite movies and series on TV! It is something everyone, child and child-at-heart alike, will enjoy. It is a perfect thing to do on a hot summer day when you do not want to leave the cool and comfort of your home. And you do not even have to break the bank. All you have to do is check out the cheapest sky package and get one for the family, that is if you haven’t got one yet, and you are good to go!

Here are a few ways how you can make TV time a fun time for everyone:

  • There is no way you can get to watch everyone’s favorite at the same time. What you can do is draw lots to assign who gets to pick which program or movies to watch every single day of the week. That way, you can watch mom’s favorite series on Mondays and see the little one’s favorite cartoon film on Sunday.
  • Ask mom to make sandwiches, popcorn and other finger foods that you can munch on while watching. Nothing beats eating good food while watching your favorite show in your favorite spot in the couch.

Of course, you still have to limit TV time so you can make room for other activities you can think of. Just make sure to make the most of each time you spend together in front of the television and enjoy the experience!

I love watching TV with my family. Childhood days are the best for me when my siblings were not yet married. It was a fun time. My mom would buy foods for us to munch on while watching TV. Your blog post made me missed those times.
