From a Career Mom to SAHM

Posted on February 17, 2010March 4, 2017 by MOMMY RUBY

Johann and MeSince I got married and introduced to the thought of making money from the internet, the idea of becoming a stay at home mommy never left me. I wanted to work and earn from home while attending to my children and husband. At first it was very hard, earning online seems to be impossible for me.

I tried reading emails for pay, clicking for cents, filling out surveys and others as I access the internet for seven years but still to no avail. Until one time, my friend Lalaine of Lalaine’s World introduced me to the world of blogging. She invited me to visit her blog through our Friendster correspondence. Then later we became chat mates. She introduced the idea of making money from blogs.

That story happened last November 2007. So on February of 2008, I resigned from my work as a branch sales head of a leading direct selling company here in the Philippines. I made a risk move to become what I wanted for seven years which is to become a stay at home mommy!

Since then, I have many ups and downs in my blogging career. I earned much! I earned less! But as far as my two years have gone as a stay at home mommy blogger, I can proudly conclude that blogging is the most successful home based business for me!

After being a corporate slave for more than 10 years, I consider being SAHM is the coolest thing in the world!
