I was just talking with my online friend who is working as a nurse abroad. We chitchat for a while, talking about random things. I asked how she was and she told me that life abroad is not as easy as most of us here in the country think. Then she added that she also enjoys here life there and that the only thing that she finds hard to resist is homesickness, but she knew that she had to do some sacrifices for her family here in the Philippines.
We also get to talk about how she ended up working abroad. She shared that she has applied several hospitals here and there and that she always carry her medical resume so that she was always ready to submit it anytime. Then after some chitchat, we bid goodbye for the meantime and decided to continue our chat later because I need to attend to Bella first.
