It has been 16 years since I took the stage to be recognized as a graduate. But I can still remember it as if it was yesterday. The days prior to my graduation was not an easy ordeal. Being in my 5th year as Civil Engineering student was not a walk in the park especially if you have a toddler and a book to defend. Not to mention, my mom and my dad were hospitalized in the same month (March). My mom went in first. She was hospitalized due to an erupted appendix, then when my mom was discharged, on that day my dad had a mild stroke. Now you tell me if you can forget that? Hahaha…
Payat (Thin) Moments
Life is full of surprises. I was not able to practice my Civil Engineering course, but I didn’t regret anything. Life happens, but what matters the most is when you continue striving and braving it as long as you have air in your lungs. God is always there for us.
Anyway, this month, yes April, my eldest daughter will graduate from Senior High School. It was not easy for us, but I am so happy that she will be taking the stage. She had to deal with a lot of problems during her two years in Senior High School, but I am glad she was able to overcome it and is graduating finally. Thank God for His awesome grace!
There will be a lot of people graduating this year, at all levels and all walks of life, and it is a happy occasion here in the Philippines. March and April are months of academic accomplishments. And these are the moments that a lot of parents are proud of their children and for children to be thankful to their parents. What a happy moment!
By the way, are any of your children graduating this year (or have graduated)? Or do you know anyone graduating(ed) this year? Leave a comment below. If yes, I congratulate you all. I share your merriment on this occasion!
