Life has really changed nowadays even on how ways people give gifts. Before, children are already satisfied with simple gifts of toys, clothes and every little thing that is available. But now, children’s wants have become more expensive and high-tech. My eldest daughter who is now 10 years old asked if she could get one of those cell phones with camera. She said that she wanted to take pictures of anything she likes and upload it to her blog. On the other hand, my seven year old son asked for an iPod. He said he wants to listen to music anytime.
As much as I wanted to give in to their Christmas wishes, I could not. Our finances right now are so tight that I have to settle with toys and new clothes. Maybe someday, when they get older and more responsible in handling such gadget, I might buy them but as of now, they are too young to get these gadgets.
