Holidays in UK – A Dream Come True for Most People

Posted on April 14, 2011December 6, 2013 by MOMMY RUBY

Almost everybody dreams of being able to enjoy holidays in uk and do you know why? That’s because aside from having the most romantic cities in the world, certain cities in the United Kingdom also offer diversity as far as attractions and cultural immersion is concerned. Indeed, there are a lot of places in the United Kingdom which are rich in history and spending even just a few hours in one of those places is guaranteed to give tourists a one-of-a-kind, enlightening experience. For instance, the London Eye is there, as with Buckingham Palace. Who can forget the Big Ben as well as the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of riding a double-decker bus?

Truly, there are so many things one can do while in UK. That may be the reason why there are so many people who really save money to go on a European vacation. Almost any time is a good time to visit the UK as they always have something grand to offer to tourists. Take for instance the many UK music festivals. Surely, if you are a music lover, you would enjoy dropping by in one of the many festivals celebrated in the UK all year round. They even have a website that is solely dedicated for festival goers and lovers. The website offers the most accurate, detailed and complete information about festivals and even respected newspapers in the UK like The Guardian and The Times highly recommend the website to locals and most especially tourists.

Now if you are not too keen on festivities like that, then perhaps you would enjoy a more quite time watching a regatta. A regatta is a series of boat races usually held over a 5-day period. Henley Regatta is the perfect place for you to go to if you want to take part in a rich tradition since it is an event that has been continuously held for more than 100 years already. This year, the Henley Regatta will be held from the 29th of June until the 3rd of July so you might want to schedule your trip during those days so you can experience the famous Henley Regatta Hospitality – delicious food, wonderful entertainment – with an Edwardian garden party feel to it.

Truly, the experience of spending a vacation in the UK is unlike anything you will get to try. If you want a classic, English-laced cultural immersion, better book your flight now.

UK is a very nice place to visit but you have to have lots of dough when you go there as it’s pretty pricey!

Spending vacation in UK is one of my dreams. I would love to see their scenic spots and visit the churches. Being there is like staying in a grand castle. I hope I can save enough so I can visit that place one day.
