I Won 30 Thousand Pesos!!

Yes folks! I won 30 thousand pesos worth of scholarship (not cold cash)!! I was so lucky to be chosen during the Mindanao Blogging Summit 2011 at Iligan City, Philippines.

Before the summit started, they announced that one of the many participants who attended MBS5 and will tweet about the Blog and Social Media Entrepreneurship Program will get one FREE slot. And I was the lucky one who got that slot!! Yehey!! Am so happy! Happy!

This is my winning tweet:

“I want to be a #blogentrep because I want to open my own digital business. Go for Filipina WAHMs!!”

So, what did I win?

Well, I won an awesome intensive 9-week online mentorship program called “Blog and Social Media Entrepreneur Course.” This program was launched by The Ateneo – DigitalFilipino Digital Entrepreneurship Program and now on its Third Batch. The online program will be conducted by no other than the subject matter expert, Janette Toral of This course is aimed to create a movement to encourage everyone especially as Filipinos to become online entrepreneurs and serve the growing needs of many businesses here in the Philippines and abroad.

What made me so happy about it?

Aside from the fact that I will be learning a lot of things to improve my blogging and online entrepreneurship skills, if I graduate with flying colors in this program, I will be called a Certified Blog and Social Media Entrepreneur!! Gosh!!! That would be fantastically awesome to the highest level!! I love the idea that I will be certified when it comes to blogging and online entrepreneurship!! Yahoo!!

The program has three major modules and to be honest, they are all awesomely interesting. They are:
Module 1: Blog Launch, Copywriting, and Social Media Promotions
Module 2: Professional Blogging, Social Media Marketing & Advertising as a Business
Module 3: Make money from Blogging and Social Media as a Service Provider

Module 1 will start on November 24, 2011. So if you are interested to participate, you can visit for more details.

Again, I would like to thank Ms. Janette Toral for this opportunity! I am so looking forward to the first module!!!
