In most countries, this time of the year signals weather changes. More often than not these changes bring about sharp gusts of wind and unbearable chills. Even if you don’t live in a country where winter is expected each and every year and you haven’t got any idea how cold it could really get, you probably have enough inkling of how vital a heater is to residents of such a country. There are actually many types of heaters but this instance we are zeroing in on water heaters. Why? Well, water is an essential need of man. We need water to survive, more so to keep ourselves clean all the time.

If you live in a country that could get very cold during winter time, just think how hard it would be for you to even wash your face in the morning. I don’t think anybody would want to take a bath with water that’s freezing cold! That’s why it’s very important that you have a water heater installed. Of course if you have the means you can always call someone to work on the water heater installation. That would include the initial set-up and also the regular maintenance of your heater. However if you want to save on money after installation, then it would be a good idea to do the maintenance yourself.

If you want your heater to last for a long time and to always operate the right way, then you should perform shifting plus cleaning of the filters every 3-6 months. This should be religiously observed particularly during the winter season since this is the time when your heater is in full use. If your heater has a dirty filter, it will work doubly hard to produce hot air. This would definitely result to quicker wearing out of the other parts of your heater. Needless to say, if you are unsure about how to maintain a water heater, try to seek the help of a professional.

I live in a tropical country and I also wish we have a water heater. It’s just cold to take a bath in the morning especially during the months of December to February.

We’re going to Baguio on the last week of Sept. And a friend of mine told me that she is going to bring their portable water heater. Sabi niya ibababad lang sa tubig. Well, at least may panlaban kami sa lamig ng tubig dun.. ehe

It’s a must if you live in countries where temperatures can reach negative degrees.
