Just the other day, I started a new blog. Though it was an old domain, I was not able to use it immediately because of my busyness and other major obligations. Then a few days ago an idea struck me on how to use it. I decided to make it into a blog documenting my struggles to break free from debt amidst our current financial hardships through faith in God and wisdom.
When I resigned from my work I brought with me my debts. And at that time, I was still starting to learn how to earn money online. Because of this, I only paid my credit card bills with the minimum amount due which caused my debts to increase more because of accumulated interests from previous balances. Now, I am faced with many financial challenges that I have decided to stop this struggle and live a debt free life!
If I lived in the US, things would have been very easy. They have many companies that can assist you and help you face these financial struggles. Some of them offer credit counseling to help you decide and go through the phases to live a debt-free life. They get you informed of the things you should know and help you understand your rights.
In my case, I wish somebody was there to counsel me and help me understand these things. Unfortunately, there is no such service found here in the Philippines. I only learned from reading books on managing personal finance in Philippine setting.
Off topic: Sure you can nominate your blogs as long as they adhere to the rule of May 2008 creation. Rule#4 of my contest. Happy Week ahead!
