Latest Food Offerings from Misto Restaurant at Seda Centrio

Posted on May 7, 2019May 30, 2019 by MOMMY RUBY

Misto Restaurant is the premier dining experience for Seda Hotels. Here in Cagayan de Oro City, we have one inside Seda Centrio. Contrary to what people think,  the restaurant is open to the public. Anyone can eat here, not only for checked-in guests.

Seda Centrio – Cagayan de Oro City

Though I have eaten here before for breakfast and dinner buffets, I haven’t been able to try their a la carte dishes. Just recently, I was indulged with Misto Restaurant’s latest food offerings – the Executive Lunch Sets and the Food Platters.

The Executive Lunch Sets

Their main entree for these Executive Lunch sets can be a choice of a Roasted Peruvian Chicken, Lechon Kawali, Calamansi Fried Chicken, Grilled Tangigue or Mushroom Risotto. The price of 499 NETT includes a side of Caesar Salad, a choice of Aji Spiced Pumpkin Soup or Mushroom Soup.

Wasn’t able to taste the others, but was able to try the Roasted Peruvian Chicken. And I must say, it tasted good.

The Food Platters

When they started serving the food platters, I wasn’t really prepared with what I was about to see. Yeah… yeah… yeah… I know food is supposed to be presented to make it look delicious and all but with their food platters? Woah! I was amazed! I instantly felt very hungry and wanted to eat it immediately. But since I am a blogger, I can’t help but take photos first.

  • Suds and Sides (New Offering)

This is my first time to see a food platter filled with every famous meat dish in our country. It has chicharon bulaklak, bone marrow, sous vide beef tendon and lechon kawali. This particular food platter is served with complimentary 6 bottles of beer. Why? Well, if you are a Filipino, you would know that all these meat dishes are the best “pulutan” for drinking buddies.

  • Charcuterie and Cheese (New Offering)

I fell in love with cheeses back in 2016. I visited the Malagos Farmhouse in Davao. We don’t have them here in Cagayan de Oro City but the good thing is that if you’re craving for cheeses… yes… different kinds of cheese… you can order this Charcuterie & Cheese Platter from Misto Restaurant. The combination of Parma Ham, Salami Milano, Salami Picante, Smoked Salmon, Manchego Cheese, Parmesan, Blue Cheese, Gouda Cheese with Dried Figs, Dried Apricot, Nuts, Pickles, and Green Apple is definitely cheese and cold cuts heaven! And guess what? It is served with four complimentary glass of wine! Isn’t that amazing?!

  • Surf and Turf

I love seafood because when I see food, I always want to eat it. Hahahaha… Kidding aside, I really love eating seafood. I am allergic to many things but not seafood (Thank, God!). Anyway, their Surf and Turf platter is awesome! It has a combination of BBQ Ribs, choice of Fried, Peruvian or Inasal chicken, grilled prawns, and baked mussels.

  • All Meat Platter

And as for the all meat platter, you will get BBQ Ribs, Lechon Kawali, Bone Marrow, and choice of Fried, Peruvian or Inasal chicken. Their Inasal (grilled) chicken is delicious by the way. I also love the fact that they have grilled veggies alongside. Yummy!!!

So, if you are up to some friends or family bondings, why not visit Misto Restaurant at the 4th Floor of Seda Centrio, C.M. Recto corner Corrales Ave, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. They are open all week from 6:00AM to 11:00PM.
