Me and my husband really love movies. We are also night owls and so has become of children. Last Friday, we watched the movie “Evan Almighty.” I really loved the movie because it really teaches a lot about life, love and family. In the movie when GOD (portrayed by Morgan Freeman) was talking to Evan’s wife, he told her something that really made me cry. He said something like this…when you pray for patience and love, does God give patience and love or an opportunity to have patience and love? I have been praying for our family to be stronger together and I kept on crying because many trials have come my way but I realized that God really did answered my prayer. He sent circumstances that makes our family stronger.
Yesterday, I also made a “family blow-out” from my blog earnings. We went to the mall. I bought my daughter a dress that she wants while my baby boy and his father went and play games. After, we ate at Mang Inasal. They went to the games station again as I went to fetch some groceries we lacked. Afterwards, we watch 10,000BC as a family!! We all enjoyed the movie. It was great and entertaining and teaches about love though it’s really hard to explain the wrong beliefs the movie portrays but it was fun watching it with the family.
Those look like good movies…still haven’t seen them yet though LOL
online movies are cool but i wish the quality were better.;-“
I have watched both of these movies. They are both very funny and family friendly. However, you have to keep in mind that 99.9% of the time movies are nothing but movies (not the real truth). That is why it is our job as parents to talk with our kids and make sure they know that what they just saw was not totally true.
