Possibilities of Getting a New Bachelor’s Degree

Posted on December 13, 2009December 4, 2013 by MOMMY RUBY

My hubby and I have been talking about going to another country to work. We also talked about migrating to either Canada or the US so as to give our family a better future. When I mentioned this to my father, he liked the idea. He said maybe I should go back to school and learn new skills that are currently in demand in other country like teachers and nurses.

Actually, I find the idea of going back to school appealing. Somehow I think that going back to school is like reversing your age because you get to be with younger people. But I also find it impossible as of the moment since I have a baby and two growing school age children to take care aside from my hubby too.

With this predicament at hand, it seems to me that going back to school and trying to get a new degree is not for me until I found the site www.wgu.edu. The website is owned by Western Governors University and they are known to offer online programs. They offer bachelors degree in education and even in nursing, RN to BSN online. They can help you learn a new degree even at the comfort of your own home. All you need is a personal computer to access your lessons and the degree you will get from them is accredited in the US.

After knowing WGU’s online program, I somehow felt that maybe I can indeed go back to school. Though I would not feel young since I wouldn’t be surrounded with younger people, at least I get to learn a new skill that will lead to a bachelor’s degree. So, what do you think about that? It’s possible, isn’t it?

well, it would be much better if you can land the schooling under a scholarship 🙂
