I guess everybody has been wondering where in the world is the owner of this blog. Well, I am just here, alive and kicking! The only problem was my internet connection. Last April 7, we have moved out from our boarding room and transferred to a more spacious apartment! Yup, we have finally moved.
Since April 6, we were busy cleaning the new house, packing up some things and then finally by April 7, we started moving our things. Then on April 8, my hubby and I spent the day looking for a living room furniture, a double deck bed and canvassed for a refrigerator and gas stove. On April 9, we spent the whole day in the house watching movies and got my husband’s mobile phone and money worth PhP 1,500.00 stolen inside my wallet at our new home because my daughter forgot to lock our front door. Great way to celebrate the Lenten Season, right?
Anyway, I am kind of inspired with our new home. I have my own kitchen wherein I can experiment my cooking skills. Though I prepare the dish inside the home, I cook the viand outside. We are using coal (uling) to cook it. We don’t have a gas stove yet, most of the time I cook during dinner because I don’t like sweating hot outside. Aside from that, we don’t buy stock of meats and veggies. We don’t have a refrigerator to store them. So, we just buy our viand every morning and noon at the food stalls near us.
I am not a great cook since I am just starting out to learn new dishes but I am happy because my husband eats what I cook. I hope he gets his cravings to eat always to show that he appreciates my cooking instead of appetite suppressants! 😀
By the way, this is what I have cooked for dinner just awhile ago.
