There are probably thousands of weight loss pills available in the market today. Many of them are regulated by the Bureau of Food and Drug (BFAD), but there are also hundreds that are sold underground on in Chinese drug stores. And many of these are manufactured without much thought to quality control. These products do work in terms of giving an energy boost or in burning fat or in suppressing appetite. However, there are reports that these products hinder in the proper functioning of the liver and kidneys. Now that is scary.
We scrimp on the money that we spend on good quality weight loss pills but then we risk damage to our internal organs that not only will cost more to cure but will also adversely affect the quality of our lives. Now I am scared. I am sure that there are many good products out there, but I am no longer sure which ones are good and which ones have bad effects.
