Medical scrubs are used by nurses as their uniform. By their scrub you shall know them. With it the people around know who to call when they needed medical attention. Sadly, some people with malicious intent try to get into the uniform to pretend to be one of them. If your hospital uses one of those white cross scrubs it will be a little difficult for the bad guys to pretend. At the same time, the design gives the nurses some class which the others do not project in their scrub designs. All the more you would want to take a nursing course.
