I’m not in the dark or anything. It’s actually my workspace that’s in the dark. That’s because my lamp has finally given up on me. It seems even if I put a fresh light bulb in it, the lamp wouldn’t work anymore. So the past few days I’ve been working in the dark. That’s the price I have to pay for working late into the night when everybody else is asleep.
Since I can’t make use of the room light and with the absence of my lamp, I make use of the light coming from my computer which is simply not enough. So I need to buy a new table lamp so I can work without difficulty. I would probably shop for one later or maybe even tomorrow. Tomorrow’s a Sunday anyway so I can slack off from work even for half a day. I need to shine some light on me if I want to get work done.
