The SM City Bacolod WIFI Launching yesterday was a success!! Though there were technical glitches like the delay of the WIFI setup and my presentation didnโt flash, their WIFI capacity was fast and the connection was awesome!
The event was attended by the members of Negros Bloggers and other WIFI users. I gave a short talk on blogging basics and how to create a blog using blogger.com platform. I wished there was someone who had some digital camcorders to record the event but (fortunately) no one has. Good thing I canโt offer a video of me! ๐
Anyway, there was also a tutorial for senior citizens that teach them about computer fundamentals. In between, they gave out tshirts, face towels and bags with ballpens for the raffle draw. I won a bag with a ballpen during the raffle and a face towel for being the first 20 to arrive early. Our friend Mommy May won the mobile phone grand prize!
Anyway, after the event, we still stayed. We had a short meeting and discussed about our next event while waiting for the live streaming with SM City Iloilo and Cebu. Unfortunately, since it was already 6pm and the other branches were not yet ready, we have left the place without waving hello to our blogger friends from Iloilo and Cebu.
Below are some pictures taken from the event, thanks to Mommy Dhadha and Sister Glady for the photos:
More photos can be found at HERE.
Again, I would like to thank the Management and Staff of SM City Bacolod for inviting us during the event and giving us a space at their food court to conduct a meeting every Saturday. Thanks also for the gift certificates that we can give as freebies to our members. God bless you all!!
