Movie Review: Kita Kita (I See You)

Saw the trailer for Kita Kita (I See You) around the last week of June this year. I really thought that the movie was interesting because the actors are not the usual “love team” that is trending among the younger generations. I felt that the movie is different, not the typical Filipino romantic comedies that I have been avoiding for years. Naaahhh… I am not bitter. I watch other rom-com. Movie Review: If Cats Disappeared from the World

Just finished watching the Japanese movie entitled, “If Cats Disappeared from the World.” And to be honest, the title and the synopsis weren’t catchy at all but I decided to watch it because I am a fan of Takeru Sato. Aside from the catchy song, the entire movie was entertaining from start to end! When I heard that they are doing a spin-off of that movie following the life of Batman, I was ecstatic! I mean who wouldn’t be excited? The LEGO Movie was amazing and having another would mean something cool is about to come. And it did come… yesterday, February 9, 2017, was the Philippine premiere…

Cinema Cents: John Wick: Chapter 2

I have been a fan of Keanu Reeves since Speed. I adored him too much because of that movie that I decided to watch all his movies (including Sandra Bullock’s) while I was growing up. He was the epitome of my Hollywood puppy love. But as I started adulting, life got busier and watching movies have become a privilege. As much as possible, I still try to catch up on all Keanu’s new movies. And just recently, I watched “John Wick: Chapter 2” with a friend. Theatrical Release Poster © Summit Entertainment The Plot The story picked up from where they left from the first movie, John Wick (2014), and…
