Honestly, I am not the perfect woman of the house. As a mom and wife, I consider myself as an on-the-job trainee when it comes to cooking but thanks to Ajinomoto and all their wondrous products, all I can say is that I am a budding chef in my own home (next to my husband that is, LOL)!!!
Anyway, since I am a member of PR Moms Network, I was informed about the leading culinary competition for aspiring Filipino chefs named as “the Ajinomoto 3rd Umami Culinary Challenge (3rd UCC): Battle for the Umami Bowl” last January 20, 2012 at the SMX Convention Center. It was one of the sought after events when it comes to culinary competitions especially between schools. Sadly, I was not able to attend due to geographical issues; I am from Cagayan de Oro City. If I were in Manila, I would have loved to attend the event especially I love to watch exceptional skills in cooking!
Anyway, the event was well-attended and those who displayed their extraordinary cooking skills were awarded accordingly.

I used to avoid ajinomoto because of the said bad effects of MSG, but after attending the PMC 2nd Grand EB and getting some free items from Ajinomoto, I tried it once again and my gosh, it totally makes a difference. The food tastes a lot better! So now, all of us are gaining weight because apparently, my cooking taste better.. 😛
So awesome the PR Moms Network was there to cover the event! 🙂
