As a mother and a career woman, I am always torn between two lovers – my family and my job. No doubt that everybody loves their families but how about our jobs…do we love them? For me, I do love my job. It is very challenging and at the same time you get to help many people earn income (I worked with a direct selling & networking company). Yup! I have helped people (mostly housewives) earn more than 20,000 pesos per month. Unfortunately, most of my time has been consumed by my job. I work from 8:30AM up to 7:30PM and almost 7 days a week. Most of the time, I am out of town or in the Head Office for a meeting. I have few hours to spend with my husband and my children. As it is, I see my children growing but not the way I wanted them to be. I could not deny the fact that children taken cared by grandparents or house help have different personalities than children mentored by their own parents – especially mothers (“ilaw ng tahanan” – light of the house). Enough with the guilt talking! When I was a younger mom back then (and I am still now young and sexy – hehehe), I always dreamt of having my own business and stay at home with my kids while my husband goes to work. Since I married at a very young age, I lacked the experience and the capital to do so. So what I did, I tried everything – from direct selling companies, pulvoron, yema, etc. but it was not enough since my husband’s work was not that good paying. Needing so much for two children, I looked for a job and postponed my love for business.
Now, I am infront of my computer and 5 thousand in the bank (that’s not a joke), I am once again dreaming for a home-based business. I have searched all over the internet and found out that most (please take note – not all) offered opportunity are scams. Yes! I can say to myself that I have been scammed many times. But of course, I am a very stubborn person so I searched for an opportunity for me. And then, I saw one and I started marketing it. It’s a real and legitimate business and many are earning (specially my fellow pinoys and pinays too….my sponsor is a pinoy and his sponsor was a pinoy….). Please feel free to visit the site at http://www.dreamteamformula.com/go/pinaymommy . I hope you find it helpful. Don’t worry…you have 7 days trial. So for 7 days, it’s free to join. Fair enough isn’t it? But for me, I am already a paying member. If you are still new in the business, I can teach you how to setup your business worldwide in a pinoy-friendly setting.
Since, I am still at work. I am doing everything part-time. I do the business that I just mentioned earlier and of course my own business…selling my services. I am not that very good in writing things but I love writing about things that I know and interest me the most. I am also good in encoding. I like doing things with my computer. I have a Pentium Dual Core processor PC, a DSL connection, a colored & dot matrix printers, telephone and headset. So, if you have a job for me…contact me also. Send me an email.
When the time comes, I will be leaving my job and pursue the life of a work-at-home mom and be with my husband & my children; to earn money and not sacrifice my responsibility as a mother and wife.
I will tell you honestly, torn between to lovers in very hard. You have to chose which one you will prioritize. Just like what the Bible says…no one can serve two masters at the same time, either you will love or hate the other. Since TIME is also called LOVE, you can easily identify which of the things you really love by analyzing how much time have you spent for them.
For me, I have already chosen. How about you?
If you love your family, decide and plan everything carefully. Don’t leave your job abruptly. We still need money to survive you know. Sometimes, it takes many years just to prepare. The important thing is – you chose the best way. Don’t feel guilty about having a job, it pays the bills and everything but having a business one day, will also do that for you as well but more. You will have a time for your family than a job.
wow rubz. i can see that you’re a very hardworking careerwoman and mom at the same time. I salute you!:) God bless in your future endeavours!
