Alas! I was able to watch Underworld 3: The Rise of the Lycans yesterday night. I was so disappointed that we were not able to watch it last Friday because my son was not permitted. The rating was R13 and he was only 5 years old. My son is not afraid of such movies. He even plays Resident Evil 4 and Left 4 Dead. Oh well, I guess they wouldn’t have a way of knowing that, right?
Anyway, I was really impressed again on how the movie was made. I guess all of you know that I like movies involving vampires especially if they are staged in medieval times or have something to do about their history.
Since the second sequel already concluded the story of the vampires and the werewolves, Underworld 3 emphasizes more on the history on how the Lycans (werewolves) started to rebel against their masters the vampires. That is the reason you wouldn’t see Selene (Kate Beckinsale) there. You will meet the primary character lovers Sonja and Lucian. Of course, Viktor is always there making things worse for the lovers.
If you like watching thriller-love story movies, I guess I can highly recommend Underworld 3. It’s pretty cool. I am satisfied with the amount of money I paid!
