Upgraded to WordPress 2.7.1

I was able to use WordPress 2.6 in some of my blogs before. It was during those times that I have said to myself that WordPress is probably not the perfect blogging platform for me. Aside from the fact that it uses PHP language, it has entails too many manual things to do especially when you upgrade to the latest version.

But alas! When I switched to WordPress 2.7, I was really happy and contented using WordPress as my blogging platform. Aside from a manageable and neat dashboard, I was really fond of installing plugins automatically without having to unzip the file and upload it to your server. You can now easily upload a plugin using zip files from the dashboard.

And now, you can automatically upgrade your plugins to the latest version in just one click. And guess what, you can automatically upgrade to the latest WordPress 2.7.1 version in just one click! Now that’s what I call convenience!

Yes, I am glad to announce that I am running with the current version of WordPress. I am not yet aware of its features but I am sure they have good ones stored for us. I will just wait a few days to discover these things!
