Water Facts

Have you ever wondered why your hair and skin are sometimes dry? Have you ever wonder why washing machines and dishwashers have white buildup? Well, the answer to that is the presence of calcium and magnesium in water. The presence of calcium and magnesium in water can cause your hair and skin to feel rough and dry. These elements also cause the lime scale buildup on water heating elements, sinks, tubs, toilets and appliances.

So, how can we prevent these from happening? The solution to that is to remove calcium and magnesium from water. To do this, you can install a water softener device. This device can help remove calcium and magnesium from water just like water filter does with particles and dusts.

Anyway, installing water softeners and water filters have now become trend due to the fact that only 1% of Earth’s water is drinkable. Most of the water resources now are polluted that is why they are often treated (that explains why tap water has calcium and magnesium) just to make it safe for human and animal consumption.
